Pricing

Priced on metered events — never a slice of your model spend.

A flat plan plus per-event overage, counted to the micro-dollar. What you pay tracks the calls you meter — not how expensive your prompts get, and not a percentage of your provider bill.

Early access

These are the current seeded plans — indicative for early access, not final. Limits and price may change before general availability, and some enterprise controls (SSO, audit log, multi-region) are still on the roadmap. We'd rather show you the real numbers now than a polished fiction.

What you pay for

You pay to meter and enforce — not for a percentage of what you spend.

One metered event is one attributed call the gateway ledgered. The subscription and overage are the whole bill; nothing in it scales with your token spend.

One metered event

One attributed LLM call the gateway meters and writes to the ledger — reserved, then committed to real cost or refunded. It costs the same to meter whether the call spent a cent or a dollar upstream.

FAQ

The questions an operator actually asks.

What's a metered event?
One attributed LLM call the gateway meters and writes to its ledger — reserve, then commit to real cost or refund. You're billed per event, flat: the price doesn't change with how many tokens the call burned upstream.
Do you take a cut of my model spend?
No. SixDecimal never touches your provider bill and never takes a percentage of your token spend. You pay a flat monthly plan plus per-event overage — that's the whole meter.
Can I self-host?
Yes — the gateway (the Go data-plane) runs in your own VPC, included on Free. The dashboard and control-plane stay managed by us. A hardened, packaged on-prem install is on the roadmap, not shipped yet.
What happens when a client hits the cap?
The gate refuses the call inline — a fail-closed 402 BUDGET_EXCEEDED returned before the provider is ever called, with the scope, limit, spend and reset time in the body. The next dollar never leaves your account.

More than 5M events a month, or on-prem?

Higher volume, custom overage, or running the whole stack in your own environment — tell us what you need.
